About Magnolia

Magnolia Granite Countertops was incorporated in 2017 after a long history of fabricating and installing countertops on a subcontractor basis. The family owners saved diligently so that they would one day be able to work only for themselves. That day finally came in May of 2017 and Magnolia Granite & Marble LLC became a reality.

Quality of workmanship and pride of performance has propelled the company into one of the most highly respected and sought-after countertop operations in middle Tennessee over the previous five years. Magnolia has recently opened a showroom sales office with slab inventory in Crossville, Tennessee to provide service of job coordination to their clientele east of Cookeville.

October 2020 will see the opening of their beautiful new facility located on Jefferson Avenue, south of I-40. To run the daily operations from their own property, to display as many different slab colors as possible, and to offer services on an increased level to the Cookeville and surrounding areas has been the brothers’ dream from the beginning. Clients will be assisted within a gorgeous showroom environment or on our huge stone slab display yard by a trained salesperson to select the right stone for their applications. There will be two sales offices where the salesperson will document their selections and provide estimates. Also, contractors and cabinet shops are welcome to send their clients for selection only. Salespersons will then provide contractors and cabinet shops with estimates quickly and effectively.

Experience

The family owners began fabricating and installing countertops in the fabrication industry in Nashville, Tennessee, and also flipped houses in their spare time, gathering knowledge of renovation and restoration. Together, they made a successful subcontracting team for countertop installations for bathroom vanities and kitchen remodeling. After working industriously for other companies, in 2017 they opened their own business, Magnolia Granite & Marble LLC on North Washington Street in Cookeville. They have built a solid reputation by focusing on customer needs and fulfilling them using the mission statement of quality over quantity and performance excellence.

From simple vanity tops to large kitchens to whatever your stone countertop desires are, Magnolia displays both knowledge and expertise in the most intricate stone applications. Our Process

Once a client is welcomed into Magnolia’s showroom, a salesperson, trained in the aspects of stone countertops, will be assigned. The salesperson will initiate a conversation about what the client’s current countertop project is, what their hopes are for the space, and how Magnolia can best assist them in achieving their countertop goals. Sales staff will offer suggestions regarding materials, perhaps pricing, color, etc. Taking a client’s vision in mind, the salesperson will escort clients through our myriad of stone and quartz slabs and/or remnants offering information about each.

When the client has made selection(s), the sales staff will meet with them in a sales office workstation where details like cabinet dimensions, square footage, pricing and time line will be discussed. Deposits may be made and template dates scheduled once pricing is approved by the client.

If a client is sent for selection only by one of our contracting customers or cabinet shops, the process will end for the client at selection and square footage if known. Sales staff will then contact the referring customer and discuss pricing with them so that they may offer a “complete package” to their client.

After the deposit has been received and job scheduled for template, the General Manager will take the project through template, fabrication, and scheduling installation. The Office Manager will send the client a final invoice once template has been completed by the shop. Final payment may be made at installations or remitted to Office Manager before installation date.

The final step is providing client with a complete installation of their specified countertops, backsplash, etc. Magnolia staff performs each phase of the process with care and attention to ensure a professional installation for each client.
